Sick All Year!
Just a little over two weeks into 2025 and I've been SICK ALL YEAR!
Finally feeling better but ughghg I had made PLANS for the years start! I guess I should take this as a reminder to NOT overdo it, especially so early in the new year. I have been known to push myself too hard after all.
At least the only Cave Aniversary I missed was the 8th, it's not like it's an important year like the 5th or 10th. Can you believe it's been 8 years of Cave Troll though? I sure can't! How wild is that!
Here's to NOT over doing it this year and burning myself out again haha!

Happy New Year!
Sure has been a while since I did a journal update here, woops! Life is messy, what can I say?
I've spent a while prepping for this year though, and even thoguh I started it with a week of illness I'm still hitting the ground running!
I've added a calendar and will be holding myself accountable for story updates, I also plan to revamp this jorunal section because I'm jsut not vibing with the present set-up. Might mess with the CSS of the site as well, but I don't have the energy to be bothered with it at this time
Here's hoping 2025 will let me survive! XD

Pixel Challenge 2024!
Alright! I guess we're doing this! I'm dying to get back into making art and building games, so I've tasked myself to create 100 different pixel sprites and/or tilesheets before the end of the year!

Tiny Progress and Starting to Sprite
Added a scroll box for the journal entries to the home page, and a lil 'Vibe' section for a video to jam to. Really loving this Stardew one today, haha!
Outside of working on the site, I'm once more getting distracted from working on my comics by working on something else in this case, it's overdue Art Cards and pixel art practice!
Not gonna lie, I used to be pretty decent at pixel art, but it's been literal years by now so time to start fresh! Today I did this little sprite wizard guy thing, and I've been making a basic tile map for dirt and grass. Maybe I'll do something with it in the future, maybe not, but it EXISTS! And that's what matters, yo!
